Job Description:
Program Assistant needed for a long 1 year temp assignment in
Downtown Los Angeles. If you have excellent customer skills and a
real desire to speak with customers and provide superior service
this could be a great temp assignment for you!
Attention to detail ? Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
such as Word & Excel ? Systematic thinking ? Communication (oral
and written) ? Teamwork ? High standards for performance and
improvement ? Business results orientation ? Decisiveness and
efficiency of decision making ? Great organizational skills ?
Experience with record-keeping, filing systems and data base
management ? Understanding of SCG?s programs, regulatory
requirements and company policies and procedures preferred ?
Ability to find ways to accomplish the most with the available time
and resources; ability to build and maintain constructive
relationships with people in the work group, customers, and vendors
? Strong leadership and team building skills. Associates degree or
equivalent required. Experience in accounting, record keeping,
filing systems, excel and database management. Must be computer
literate and have strong planning and organizational skills.
Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting Program Support
Services in the operation of energy efficiency, low-income, new
construction, and other programs to meet established earnings and
other program goals. Provides various levels of assistance to
program managers implementing energy efficiency, low-income
programs, new construction, or other programs in accordance with
regulatory requirements and company policies and objectives. ?
Responsible for completing activities as assigned by the Program
Support Services Supervisor, including providing information to and
processing requests from customers; working with outside vendors
involved in the programs; tracking program activity; entering data
and performing other computer functions; maintaining filing and
data systems; verifying completeness of paperwork; identifying and
resolving discrepancies and/or omissions; and communicating
information regarding the programs both in oral and written form to
others in the company as well as to vendors and customers. Provide
various levels of assistance to program managers in implementing
commercial programs. Processing requests from customers; working
with outside vendors; tracking budget and other program activities;
assisting with the development of program procedures. Data entry
and other computer functions, maintaining filing system.
Communicating information regarding the programs both in verbal and
written form to others in the company as well as to vendors and
customers.
