Sr. Manager of Procurement - Ingredients
The Sr. Manager of Procurement, Ingredients is responsible to lead
business and procurement strategy of Niagara's Ingredients spend
categories to reduce 'Total Cost of Ownership', provide supply
continuity, and deliver on quality and service expectations.
This role is a key leadership position within Niagara's procurement
function, reporting directly to the Vice President (VP) of
Procurement. The primary responsibility is to lead a dedicated team
of procurement professionals, focusing on enhancing and executing
effective business processes related to the supply of ingredients.
This includes fostering strong relationships between Niagara and
its various suppliers, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply
chain. The candidate will be instrumental in understanding and
adapting to changing business needs and aligning procurement
strategies with these evolving requirements. Moreover, this
position plays a crucial role in supporting and advancing Niagara's
strategic objectives, particularly in the beverage and contract
manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be expected to
bring expertise in procurement, team leadership, and strategic
planning, contributing significantly to the overall success and
growth of Niagara's beverage operations. This role demands a
proactive approach to supplier management, process improvement, and
strategic alignment, all aimed at optimizing the procurement
function and supporting Niagara's business goals.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the development and execution of Procurement
strategies for all categories under control category together with
stakeholders that deliver on multi-year category needs and reduce
our Total Cost of Ownership and improve availability, quality,
service and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders on supplier selection
and service level benchmarks to gain proper alignment on category
direction and ensure satisfaction.
- Consolidation of suppliers, specifications and material supply
chains, ensuring that Niagara's supply chains evolve to meet the
dynamic needs of the business and its clients.
- Lead team to identify and address potential risks and gaps in
material supply, assess the outcomes of projects to distinguish
successes and failures, and initiate changes in processes to
enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of future
projects.
- Ensure compliance to policy on all sourcing
activities.
- Oversee relationships with key and critical suppliers, manage
together with team on SRM, SLA, KPIs and supplier performance
management protocols.
- Development and management of departmental budgets and work
with Business and Finance team to analyze trends and monitor and
address any variances on delivered pricing.
- Research, track and communicate industry trends, best
practices, applicable indices, and competitive offerings to
identify opportunities for innovation, competitive advantage and
increased profitability.
- This position requires up to 25% travel.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 Years - Experience in ingredients, dairy, food, beverages,
CPG or other related industries in procurement or commercial
capacity.
- 6 Years - Experience in Position.
- 6 Years - Experience managing people/projects.
- Experience may include a combination of work experience and
education.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ Years - Experience in ingredients, dairy, food, beverages,
CPG or other related industries in procurement or commercial
capacity.
- 10+ Years - Experience working in Position.

Typical Compensation Range
Pay Rate Type: Salary
$156,991.00 - $219,786.00 / Yearly
Bonus Target: 15% Annual
