A company is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering - Databases.



Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a team of engineers to design and build scalable database services
Develop and execute a long-term roadmap for evolving the Database platform
Collaborate with engineering leadership to set strategy and priorities for projects


Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing high-output platform or product teams in complex technical domains
5+ years of experience building and scaling distributed or storage systems in a public cloud environment
Experience with database systems, storage systems, and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with core data storage and streaming technologies
Demonstrated leadership skills in building high-performing engineering teams
