Job Description:

A company is looking for a Database Administrator for a remote contract position.

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced performance tuning on complex multi-terabyte databases with heavy transaction volumes
Install Oracle Database 19c, Oracle RAC, and Golden Gate for a new database tier and capacity planning for an ERP upgrade project
Manage standard administration tasks including backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

Experience with Oracle Database 12c or higher
Experience with Oracle RAC and Golden Gate
Advanced SQL and shell scripting experience
Experience supporting multi-terabyte databases and advanced performance tuning
Familiarity with Microsoft O365 applications and MS Teams
