IT Systems Administrator, Services - ONSITE - US Citizenship Required - Multiple U.S. location options.
TITLE: IT Systems Administrator, Services
LOCATION OPTIONS: El Segundo, Thousand Oaks or Camarillo CA, or Eagan, MN (On-Site - no remote)
DURATION: Full Time Employee
Hierarchy/ Reporting To: IT Manager, Services
Supervisory Responsibilities: None currently.
SALARY: $68K- $110K DOE

Job Summary:

• 
  
• Responsible for day-to-day deployment and support of the infrastructure within our client's environments.
  
• Setting up servers and related technology.
  
• 2-3 years as an IT Sys Admin is fine, or transitioning from a level 2-3 DeskSide position.
  
• Must have experience in the role and a positive attitude towards learning and following processes.
  
  Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  
  • 
    
  • Implementation/support of secure infrastructure including networks, servers, databases, applications, and systems.
    
  • Follow direction from ITSS Infrastructure and Security teams to adhere to company standards.
    
  • Ensure setup and availability of business-critical customer accessible systems.
    
  • Maintain appropriate backup and archive of systems holding customer data.
    
  • Explain technical solutions to non-technical staff clearly.
    
  • Maintain system integrity and security.
    
  • Create and maintain documentation relating to systems.
    
  • Monitor effectiveness of existing systems and provide improvement plans.
    
  • Provision servers, deploy software, and ensure appropriate software installations and upgrades.

      Education and/or Experience:
      Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; one (1) to three (3) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      Computer Skills:
      
      • 
        
      • Experience with Windows Active Directory Domains and Windows Server/Client systems.
        
      • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Apps: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
        
        Preferred skills (but not mandatory):
        
        • 
          
        • AWS experience including VPC, EC2, Security Groups, and Cloud Formation/AWS CDK.
          
        • Backup/Archiving solutions experience.
          
        • Setup of PKI digital certificates.
          
        • Implementation/support of Linux systems.
          
        • Knowledge/ability to program and script in Windows Batch/PowerShell/JSON/YAML.
          
          Other Skills and Abilities:

          • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
            
          • Subject to FAA/DOT Program.
            
            Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
            This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with potential after-hours work.
            Location and Travel:
            Normal place of work will be based out of El Segundo, CA, Eagan, MN, or Thousand Oaks, CA.
