Job Description:

Direct Counsel has partnered with a prestigious Personal Injury firm in Downtown Los Angeles in search of Pre-Litigation Attorney or Settlement Negotiator. This is an onsite position with M-F working hours.Qualifications:

• Previous bodily injury claims experience.
• Car insurance negotiation experience a plus - whether plaintiffs' civil or defense side cases.
• Experience as either an associate attorney with personal injury pre-litigation or a claims negotiator.Responsibilities include:
• Negotiating personal injury cases against insurance companies.
• Reviewing and submitting demand letters/packages.
• Negotiating settlements for various cases involving bodily injury (MVAs, premises liability, dog bites, etc.).
• Negotiating liens with a variety of vendors (doctors, chiropractors, rehabilitation centers, etc.).
• Direct client communication and support.Preferred skills:
• Excellent demand, settlement, and negotiation skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Self-starter, team player, able to achieve results with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Effective employee management skills (will be overseeing two team members).
• Able to handle a high volume of cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Compensation and Benefits:
